Description: Mr. G's Ice Cream is located in the historic John Winebrenner house in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. Battle scarred by bullets on the south side of the building and reportedly haunted by spirits of the past, Mr. G's offers delicious homemade and soft serve ice cream. Stop in and try one of our homemade waffle cones and enjoy the ambience of this historic Gettysburg building

It is what it says it is... a classic small town home made ice cream shop. It's complete with a screen door that slams. Great ice cream at a good price. Nothing fancy, just good food.

This is a must! We stopped here everyday while we were in Gettysburg. We even opted to stop here for dessert instead of ordering dessert at the restaurant some nights. The treats were amazing and the service even better. This place is a MUST!!!

I've been to Gettysburg many times, but hadn't had the chance to stop at Mr. G's. So glad we did this time! Great service, friendly staff, and DELICIOUS ice cream. I had the pumpkin which was absolutely perfect, and the two kids that went with me this time had black raspberry cheesecake and peanut butter cup. Every flavor was a hit! I'm 100% sure we'll be back!

The flavors were outstanding and the scoops so large they appeared double! Only problem was in trying to keep all that ice cream balanced on the little cone.

Great ice cream, but sometimes the line is "out the door". Worth the wait if you have the time. Parking can also be dicey.
