This place is, by far, my favorite restaurant in town! We ALWAYS stop by when visiting and I have yet to have a bad meal!
The staff take great care of you, and Keevan has been our waiter for the past few visits, and he’s a gem!
They just won an award, worldwide, for “Best Irish Pub Food Experience” so I feel justified in bragging about how delicious I find it!
Personal favorite: Irish Nachos (appetizer). They’re sliced potatoes that are covered in cheese, bacon, scallions, tomatoes, peppers, and sour cream. So. Good.

My wife and I had dinner here. She ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the shepherds pie. We both started off with their onion soup which was very sweet and tasty.

The filet of fish covered the entire plate. It was a huge piece of fish which had a nice, crispy exterior that wasn't overly breaded. The shepherds pie was very tasty and filling.

The service timing was spot on. We didn't wait for anything.

We had a great lunch here! Tender corned beef sandwiches with kraut and cheese. The salad of mixed green, cucumbers, tomatoes, and red peppers was fresh and crisp. The fries were a little cold but the cold beer was welcome!

There were four of us that took in lunch at Garryowen as recommended by locals. We all chose something different. The Shepard's pie was outstanding as was the Irish stew--both were homemade down to the mashed potatoes on the top of the Shepard's Pie. Even the house hamburger was excellent with very hot and tasty fries. The service was top shelf even though they were short staffed. Don't miss this place--it's really worth a detour.

The food and the service was friendly and great. They had a large selection of great Irish Whisky and beers. Recommend the Shepherd's pie!
