Neat to see something that has been around so long. Interesting history associated with it. Video display along with a miniature mock up of Gettysburg back in 1863. Worth the visit.

A wonderful historic home in downtown Gettysburg, and a self-guided tour that was certainly worth $7. Yes this is where Lincoln polished the Gettysburg Address, and the videos and we’ll done signs throughout the small home document this well. It is also an interesting story of David Wills who was instrumental in forming the Soldiers’ National Cemetery where Lincoln gave his address, and of the Wills home itself used as a make shift hospital after the battle. Would give five stars but some children and attention deficit adults might lose interest quickly :-)

A nice stop in a neat town. Neat to be in the room where Lincoln slept before the address. A nice short visit is all you need.

The more I know about Gettysburg, the more I realize I don't know. This exhibit includes two videos that pull the rest of the exhibit together. It's really well done. And, for the next few weeks, it's free!

Well restored site, but it's claim to fame is "Lincoln slept her"e before he gave the Gettysburg address. I don't think I or any other tax payer really cares! The house is small and it is really a self guided tour of 4 rooms total. This house does not rise to the level that it should be an NPS site. It should be a little state site and nothing more. If I were on vacation with my family I would save my money and skip this one.
