lovely old historic home, with many of the original details, floors, fireplaces, doors and woodwork. I think there was a fire place in every room. Very nice Bed and Breakfast , several rooms to chose from. Several with king size comfortable beds and private baths. great breakfast in front of the fire in the dining room. Very flexable hosts . Hosts know Phila well and are a good resource for travelers. Hosts were great and available for anything you needed, Safe area, with easy parking on the street, across the street from School for the Deaf. Not sure how close it is to public transportation, but info on transportation was in notebook in bedroom with helpful information for the area , dining suggestions, sites to visit, etc. Will definitely be back to this B and B while visiting family in Philadephia.
FIrst time in a 1700's home with original character.
