I visit family in Philadelphia quite often so I know many of the hotels. This was our first stay at Roost. Chose it because it looked spacious and we wanted to avoid close contact due to Covid. Also, we brought our (small) dog and had never stayed in a high rise with her. We have considered moving to Center City from a rural area and wanted to try it out for a few days.
This is an apartment building with some rooms rented by the day. No fancy amenities so very much like an apartment one would live in. Totally well equipped kitchen with excellent appliances. Great bed and lots of space and light. Super cordial staff who always chatted with us as well as the long term residents. And you cannot beat the location. The apartment we stayed in on the sixth floor had no street noise at all.
It was a fine experience and the price was totally reasonable. We could imagine living there long term.
Highly recommended. More
