Really bad experience
do not visit, no animals in the cage, not worth for the entry fee you have paid.
Parking fee is also horrible.

I think seeing animals happy in their sanctuaries is the most important part. Having the ability to travel by the tunnel system throughout the park certainly made the animals more active. It was a warm, busy day. It’s a local favorite and a must see.

This is a pretty good zoo, I really don't have many bad things to say about it. There are some sketchy things that happen in the background, but they are pretty small. It's typical of any place that has captive animals, there will always be ethical concerns. Anyway, they have dippin dots machines which is wonderful. Also, the zoo is fairly level, so it's not a huge pain to walk around.

One of the relatively inexpensive day trips is the Philly Zoo, which has a huge collection of animals, lots of stuff aimed at the kids, and an enclosed set of elevated walkways that allow the animals to safely roam the park. Keep your eyes open, you can never tall who will walk by just above your head!

We were lucky that we got a break in the heat, so it was an especially nice summer day.

I love the Philly zoo. I have been there many times. This time a little disappointed. There was a lack of animals. The ones there were hiding and not interactive at all.
The beer garden was closed.
