I love staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. It's quaint, very clean with the most cordial staff. The location is great and the hotel has a warm and personal feel to it. They have a relatively reasonable breakfast buffet; and dinner is available from 5pm - 10pm.

That’s an amazing location, walk distance to restaurants, city hall, sightseeing bus stops and few others touristic locations. By the way it’s just on top of the central market. Staff was amazing and very friendly.

We used this hotel as a base to be near Jefferson hospital and for that purpose, the location is excellent. Only a 7 minute walk to the hospital so convenient for visitors who may be visiting sick relatives several times a day. Room was comfortable and clean.

Our experience is mixed. Con: Hotel rooms and hotel facility are dated. Musty rug. Dark hallways. Furnitures have chips and scratches. Pillow case ripped. Sink has cracks and wall paper peeling. Neighborhood is shady. Lots of homeless on street. No safe to lock valuable away in our room. Self parking is $37 for one day. Pro: Staff is friendly and accommodating. We were checking out but was still able to leave our food in their staff fridge until leaving the city. They arranged for us to stay on same floor as swim pool as requested. We got bottle water for each person upon checking in. We have two queen beds with one pull out queen sofa. Great for large family. Beds are comfy. Reading market and Chinatown right around corner. So many great eatery. Swim pool water was warm as reported by my teens. Neutrogena bath bar is great. Breakfast was great. Omlette station with fresh orange juice. Breakfast room was prob the best room of the hotel. Overall an ok experience. It’s pricey for the type of accommodation provided. I probably try Marriot down the block next time with the price I paid.

When a single night at a Garden Inn tops out near $350 with tax, you expect the property to at least match the brand standard. This one didn't. Entered via a dark, covered street in a mildly-distressed neighborhood, the hotel exuded a kind of clandestine vibe. Rooms were relatively clean, though bed covers on one were soiled [shoes?]. Bedding comfortable, air conditioning noisy ... but a reasonable night's sleep nonetheless.

Front desk service pleasant and prompt.
