The trestle is a nice trail at a great location. Its very accessible, by either stairs or an elevator. The elevated trail goes all the way along the old steel works which are really impressive. On the opposite side are views of the old steel yard buildings which are in various states of renovation. After not being in Bethlehem for many years, we were impressed with what they have done with this true slice of American history.

Took the tour this past weekend. It was informative, leisurely and amazing to stand before an iconic part of American industrial history!!

Our tour guide was Cathy Z.
She was fantastic. I almost felt she had worked there and found that 20 members of her family had done so. She was very knowledgeable, personable and a pleasure to have as a guide.

If I could make a suggestion - I think a great souvenir would be to have a ball of taconite, a piece of coke and a 3-D crystal cube with a laser etch of the Steel Stacks in a little display case.

What a peaceful walk! I loved getting up close to the old steel structures. It’s beautiful to see how nature is trying to overtake them. Even with my limited photographic skills and just an iPhone, I got some great pictures. Stopped whenever the mood struck to read info or get pics.

I love that they are preserving this history for generations to come as the steel industry has been such an important part of the economic growth of the US.

A part of American History! This is what helped build America whether it be thru our bridges, skyscrapers of New York or our military.
Bethlehem Steel n the 30,000 employees forged the foundation of the good old USA.
This is the history that many of us have numerous memories of what once was.
While in the area stop by the Museum of History for a few other surprises
