They don’t open outside pool until 1 pm. So it makes the pool very crowded. And pool should have been built bigger. Needs to open at 10am. Then they let daycares and groups into outside area before any of the rest of the people. So they take all shaded areas and chairs. Not right at all. Everyone should be let In At same time. Gym is small. Only other thing to do is play basketball. Fruita really fell short on building a rec center. They kicked my daughter out of library because there wasn’t an adult with her. She’s 10 years old and was reading a book. Lol. These kids now days.

My brother-in-law took us here to go swimming and we had a great time. Not only do they have two very nice pools, but it looked like they also had a library and other work out facilities available. The locker rooms were very nice and well kept.

Everyone should have a place like this in town. There is pretty much everything you could want. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, multi use ball court, workout rooms, an indoor walking path are there for exercise.

There is a library here. There are meeting rooms where special lectures are held (we went to one on back health).

Gray Gourmet feeds seniors here - and they also sponsor pot luck meals.

This is just amazing and so inexpensive. You do not have to be a resident to enjoy this facility!

They have a terrific in/outdoor pool. Great for all ages. Kids will love it. The gym includes an indoor track, weight machines, free weights, classes and even trainers. They play pickleball indoors a few days a week including the winter. They are open 7 days a week and the walk in rate is very reasonable between $3 - $6. They allow take Silver Slippers.

The Fruita Community Center has a great indoor swimming pool and gym area with a lot of newer exercise and weight machines to get you fit for the day.
