We were here an hour and had enough. There were multiple kids from the centers camp there. They were very poorly behaved and the counselors just let them run all over. I had to repeatedly ask for things back from them that they just took out of my sons hands. Maybe it’s the teacher in me, but we couldn’t handle the behaviors of other kids. We don’t plan on returning.

Three generations, ranging in age from 10 to 73, visited the Museum of Discovery in the heart of Little Rock's River Market on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. What a wonderful place! First of all nearly everything in the museum was hands-on (90+hands on exhibits), AND everything was in working order.

My personal favorite was the exhibit which allowed me to lie on a bed of nails--honestly, no trickery, just lots of long nails that support your body, if you're game enough to lie down. It was great!

The 10-year old loved the vacuum "wall" of pipes, where scarves were inserted in various openings and air was diverted so the scarves "shot" out different exit points. He would have spent the entire day there had we let him, but there was much to see and do.

The exhibits range from light principles to motion principles to the body to simple machines and more. We all had a great time, and we will definitely return as many of the exhibits can be explored over and over.

The museum is clean and modern, while being housed in a much older, but sturdy building. The Museum of Discovery is the oldest museum in Arkansas (founded in 1927) and has been named "The 6th Best U.S. Science Museum by MENSA," no less.

Don't come to Little Rock and not go to the Museum of Discovery. It's an easy walk from the Clinton Presidential Library and can easily be paired with a visit to the nearby Witt Stephens, Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center.

Lots to look at and do, kept the boys busy for four hours. I enjoyed many of the exhibits as well, learned new and interesting things. Wasn't crowded at all. Because we're members of our local children's museum we got in free thru reciprocity.
