They have a good paved biking and walking trail which is easy to average in difficulty. They have several benches to rest at and we were continuously surrounded by trees, rivers, songbirds, and with a drizzle of flowers.
I have been to this park many times. It is one of the best in town for walking and taking dogs out. The trails are of good lengths and the scenery is beautiful. You can enjoy the trees, fields, rivers, bridges, etc. as well as a pack of deer and bikes. If you do not like snakes, be aware that there could be a chance you see one or two in warm months. The bathroom has three toilets, and usually it is kept clean.
Paths up to 17 miles along the Arkansas River. Two Rivers park is laced with shorter paths, about 2 miles. Very popular even during the week.
Really goo walk. A couple of easy miles, lots of wildlife to see, at the end of the walk are public gardens, great to see in the summer when everything is in bloom.
Also, we did the hike a night once with headlights... fabulous... the place was jumping with njght creatures whose eyes you could see reflected.
I love this park so much that when my husband and I decided to get married in ten days, we picked this park for our (tiny and private) ceremony. We met our preacher and his wife, found a little secluded spot, and said I do! Beautiful.
This wonderful pedestrian bridge spanning the Arkansas River is a great place to walk, ride your bike or walk the dog. It goes to Two Mountain Park, where you can walk the wooded trails along the banks of the river. You might even encounter the odd wildlife on your journey.
