This hotel deserves five star ratings!
I arrived late for check-in, and check-in was fast, and the receptionist was friendly.
Rooms were big and beds were comfortable, Times Square is within walking distance (around 10 mins) and hotels were surrounded with lots of good restaurants.
Our reservation was only for 7 nights, but the additional three nights the hotel GM Mark was helping us with the reservations even the hotels were fully booked, and gave us good rates despite of the hotel was fully booked.
Concierge was also friendly and helpful.
I will recommend this hotel for any family with children that will visit NYC.
Thank you to Mark, because you willing to help us with the extra three night stay, we do not need to change our hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Skyline hotel. It is 2 blocks (5-10 min walk) from the nearest subway station and a 10 -15 min walk from Times Square. The room was spacious for a New York hotel and bathrooms a good size. Having a rooftop pool was a bonus and it has a great view of NYC.
Note that the pool is only open early in the morning and from 5pm on weekdays. More access on weekends. The hotel is across the road from a number of cafes and dry cleaning shops.
The hotel was able to arrange transport back to JFK for $75 which was great. The only fault is that you have to pay for Wi-Fi which is rare in NYC. It is free in the lobby but you have to pay per device to access in your room which is ridiculous.
Would definitely stay here again if they had a better arrangement with wifi access.

Me, my wife and 2 kids recently got back from a nice trip to NY. This our 2nd time staying here and it did not disappoint. Looks renovated from the last time we were here and they did a nice job. We got the Junior suite, which was perfect for a family at a great price compared to other small hotels in the area. It was a nice clean room, very spacious and very comfortable. The separate sofa bed was so nice and soft, my son loved it! I also would like to note that the swimming pool was nice! That was an extra for us since my kids love to swim. Oh and the restaurant on site helped because after a long day I would stop by for a nice cold drink! We only had 1 minor issue in the room but Mark and the daytime manager took care of it quickly. They were extremely helpful and so nice about it. Overall it was a perfect stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you come to New York with a family.

Room Tip: We got the family junior suite towards the back and was perfect away from any noise.

We stayed here for 5nights in December and was impressed by how big the rooms were. We had 2 double beds in our room with plenty of space for my little girl to run round and play!!
There is a deli over the road which was reasonable in price and had a large variety of meals and drinks etc. The hotel was a 10-15min walk to Times Square so all attractions were in easy reach.

This hotel is in "Hell's Kitchen" very walk-able to Times Square and Broadway. If you are in NYC for tourist stuff this was a good choice. It is reasonably priced and the staff were pleasant. They do have a computer "glitch" that charged us after we already paid but with a bit of nagging they did take the time and removed it. I would suggest you keep a close eye on your credit card if you prepay. The Bell hop was very helpful and didn't hold his hand out every time we spoke to him. Skip the restaurant attached the food is not that great but the drinks were pretty good. Take a walk to get food or have it delivered.

Room Tip: Having the newer rooms you must use the back elevator which is a bit of a walk.

Thank you for pointing out about our great location. The issue with your credit card was not that we charged you twice, but a hold by mistake was put on your credit card that automatically came off after check out.

Best regards,
