The kind attention The experience is excellent! Very good the cocktail bar. If you visit the place for dinner, it is not recommended. It does not have elaborate food. The music was amazing! A place for couples.

A throw back to the era of dimly lit bars with elegant seating and lighting....we were there before the piano player started but really enjoyed the upscale atmosphere. Drinks are typical pricey for theater district ..$14 for a drink

Loved visiting this place during our weekend visit we went back two nights in a row. Great little place, good live music and amazingly friendly staff (especially Vicente!). Definitely recommend stopping in for a drink.

We’ve stopped by this location a number of times over the years because of the type of musicians that play this venue. These may not be mainline acts but no one can deny the talent that consistently plays this venue. You never know who you may be hearing but you can be assured it will be jazzy or have a roaring 20s feel to it. Drinks are reasonably priced and staff get you to seats whenever possible. Be prepared to be a little squished but it’s a part of he experience.

I had been tipped off prior to booking a hotel for a week of work in NYC, in fact the sole reason for staying at the Hotel Edison (I'll review that later).
It is safe to say I love Rum, and I also am partial to laid back bars, live music, jazz, excellent service, reasonable prices, and a good time.

The Rum House is not lacking in any of those areas.

I will return
