This unusual park is incredible. All year round, from opening hour to closing, empty or packed, it is a treat to visit. The views, the plantings, the people watching - unparalleled in NYC. Don't miss this if you're visiting and don't hesitate to go regularly if you're a NYer.

I remember going to the clubs on the West Side and seeing this busted old elevated track and thinking "yuck", now a beautiful public park, the High Line has raised the value of real estate in the area and totally transformed the West Side.

A good walk, take your time its a good walk. Buy something as money goes to the up keep. Walk the line and enjoy the last view "hudson yard" the new buildings are fantastic as they build over the top of the yard. When finished will be spectacular
Start at the Chelsea market and visit it again brilliant starting point.

Central Park may be Manhattan's back yard, but The High Line is the perfect place to take a stroll. A relaxed walk after dinner with friends is the ideal way to enjoy The High Line.
