“Living like a New Yorker in the heart of Greenwich Village”

The apartment was perfect for a stay of over a week in glorious spring weather for seeing NYC. Beds were very comfortable and layout was great for two teenagers in one room and myself in the other. Internet very reliable and fast. A welcoming apartment with paintings, plants and natural light. The kitchen was well fitted out to cook, although a microwave would have been more convenient than using the oven or by stove top. The boys could come and go safely to get what they wanted from the shops below or get around the area on skateboards. The bike lanes were extensive in the area and in the main respected by drivers. Sure the apartment is on the fifth level but for most this should not be an issue. Access to subway was within a block and easy walking distance to excellent bakeries, cafe's, restaurants and deli's. Fantastic array of deli items at Murray's Cheese shop to make lunch to have in one of the many park's. The boy enjoyed freshly baked bagel's for $1 at nearby Bagel's on the Square 7 Carmine Street or filled for a reasonable price. Go a few shops further along to the subway entrance and the Asian bakery has good value steamed pork buns and freshly baked soft breads early in the morning. Oatmeals 120 West 3rd street was a breakfast highlight for good coffee and oatmeal with a vast range of toppings. Hot tip - see Greenwich Village and nearby side streets of Soho on a Sunday - markets, music, entertainment and loads of atmosphere. Use online reservation system for many restaurants and music/comedy venues in area, meant we didn't have to wait for a table in this lively area. Plenty of comedy and music choices in area to be entertained in the evening. Was able to stay until early afternoon on last day was a bonus before flying home. I have come many times to New York for work and stayed mid town near the office. This will be my choice going forward.

“Great place to experience the best of New York City!”

Four of us stayed at this apartment in the heart of the village and had the perfect girl's weekend. We were surrounded by great restaurants, (John's Pizza across the street is considered one of the top 10 pizza places in the city) lots of great shops and nearby Chelsea and SoHo where we walked the Highline and in and out of the art galleries. Location couldn't have been better. the apartment is charming and comfortable for 4. The bathroom is without a sink, but it was fine using the kitchen sink and worth it for everything else the apartment does have. Beware the 5 flights up if you struggle with stairs though. The owner was wonderfully accommodating and flexible with our arrival timing. Bed were very comfortable, everything was very clean. The owner has just enough in the apartment to be comfortable but not so much that you felt like you were in someone else's living space. It's a real gem and a great value.

Good location in easy walking distance of metro and uptown. Bathroom has no basin but wasn't a problem. On the fifth floor which could be difficult for older guests. Owner helpful and made sure we were settled in.

“Perfect Village location”

As mentioned in other reviews, the location of this apartment could not be better. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant downstairs (Baker & Co.) and breakfast just down the street at Rocco Pasticceria (check out the extensive cookie selection!) Despite being in the middle of the Village, the apartment was quiet and we slept well.

The apartment was small but spotless. Kira was very responsive and easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend it.

“So convenient”

Great location right on Bleeker St in the heart of Greenwich Village. Amy's Bread right across the street is fantastic for breakfast, as well as a market store and the subway is just a couple of short blocks. The owner was very accommodating in allowing us to stay through to the afternoon on the day of departure as we had an evening long haul flight. (Thanks so much Kira, greatly appreciated). The advice states that the apartment is a 5 floor walk up but it is actually only 4 flights of stairs....... free workout!
The apartment is an older property and the bathroom very small but everything was very clean. The pictures were a true representation of the property.
