The food here is not that great. I think the real draw is its location and, more importantly, the open air deck and bar on the second floor.

The trouble is the bar area is not that large and gets filled early. Good luck finding a table up there after 4 on a sunny day. Your alternative is the small downstairs bar that will likely also be packed or the long communal tables where you can be waited on. And here is the problem: The reason to go here is the upstairs bar and since the food is only so so if you can’t grab a seat on the deck it’s hard to find a reason to go here.

In summary, go if you are early enough to catch a seat on the deck or really have to have Mexican food and don’t want to leave the area. Otherwise, try somewhere else

Right near Madison Square Garden, we went before seeing a concert after reading reviews here. Had great food at an outside table; there are 3 levels, 1 which is out on the Penn plaza. On their menu they state to order anything, they hold your credit card until you’re done (Guessing they’ve had people walk away without paying). Yummy food and friendly servers. Will visit this again when in the area.

We noticed their rooftop seating as we were walking by and decided to visit. We found a nice corner spot and were able to take in the city around us as we ate. I had the carnitas burrito which was big and my wife had a salad which she really enjoyed. The ingredients were fresh and the food was good. The atmosphere was lively but not overly loud. There were TVs outside and they were showing World Cup matches. It would be a good spot to grab a drink after work as well.

Found our way to Lucy’s after Journey concert. Didn’t get there until around 11:30 and was given a great rooftop table near the action. The food was authentic and quickly served...not overpriced and plenty of it. Service was excellent and great atmosphere for hanging out.

I’ve came here two times now with friends during happy hour and I have to say I’m not impressed. DO NOT order the chips and salsa, the salsa tastes like watered down ketchup! The other food on the menu is just “okay”, nothing special, as well as the drinks. The service is not good. It takes 20 mins to get anything, drinks served, food, or your check. Out of all the roof top bars in New York I’d say don’t waste your time here and go somewhere more worth it.
