Stayed here late last year and again last week. Loved it the 1st tine but not as much this time. It was hot outside - the lobby was always kind of warm. I could never get my room temp below 73 even with the ceiling fan on high and the temp set on 68. All i wanted was a cold room. The phone in the room didn’t work. It’s a nice hotel with small but good rooms. The rooftop area offers a great view but unfortunately the bar up there isn’t open (would be a nice place to have a drink). No gym on site but guests have access to Gym NYC a few blocks away. I was definitely not impressed with the gym. Very old equipment with a few out of service. Gym was a bummer. Hotel now has a little bit of food out in the morning and a little cheese and wine in evening. I like to ear at Butchers Saughter across the street for breakfast (sooooo good) so I only got a little fruit each am. Kind of weird that they have bowls and silverware out but no place to put the dirty ones. People just leave their dirty bowls sitting on the couch. Suggest that they either use paper plates and plastic ware you can throw away or have a places to put dirty dishes. It looks pretty low end the way they do it now (although I do give them credit for trying; it could be nice with a few changes). Overall I’d still recommend the hotel. Neighborhood is great and it’s reasonably priced, but I may try another place in the area next time to compare especially if in the summer as I want a cold room.

This modern little hotel in Nolita is a great place to stay downtown. The rooms are small but modern and comfortable, and we were impressed by the unexpected extras - the continental breakfast in the lobby each morning and the wine and cheese each evening. The food presented was excellent, and constantly replenished, and we found this to be a lovely way to start and finish our days. We also appreciated the in-room yoga mat, and the prompt provision of a kettle when requested. The sharp edges on the bed frame, however, were not so good, and we got lovely bruises on our shins.

Lovely hotel. The cheese and wine every evening is a lovely touch. The superior queen with balcony is a good room. Comfortable with everything u could need in a hotel room. Great views although the noise levels can be a little much at times. View from the rooftop is exceptional. Would stay again.

We had a brilliant stay here. Service was excellent, the room was lovely, the food was great and the location was absolutely perfect for our 4-day break in New York. The only possible fault was the poor quality of their coffee but as the coffee shop next door served quite possibly the finest coffee that I've ever had this was not really a problem!

Nolita is a very trendy district mostly for those in their twenties. I stayed here because my business meeting was nearby. Reservations by phone were simple and straight forward. The folks behind the reception desk upon arrival were friendly, helpful and efficient. They remained so throughout the stay.

The room was modern, smallish, not elegant, but comfortable for 1. Some quirks. The electrical outlets are not located for the digital age. There was an in-room safe but it was not functioning. The bathroom was again modern and large enough. However, the flow from the shower head was light and, at times, there just was not enough hot water. There is one stern chair in the room somewhat like one would find in a waiting room of the motor vehicle agency. It also has no rubber on the legs so moving the chair on the wooden floor made a Loyd sound.. The bed is comfortable. My room faced a street and it could be very noisey at times.

Very little is inexpensive in Manhattan and this is no exception.

However, given the overall experience I would not mind staying here again.

Thank you for the review Machgumd. Your feedback are greatly appreciated. I have personally taken note of the outlet placement and water flow. We are always looking for ways to improve!! Good news about the safes...They are now functioning :)

We do hope to welcome you again in the near future!

Best Regards.
