There is no cost to visiting the National 9/11 Memorial, unless you want a guided tour. In addition, One World Trade Center, which is right next to the Memorial park is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, at 102 stories. It is a great place to go to the top and get photos of all of Manhattan.

Highly recommend a visit to this museum, it is well worth the entry fee. Respectfully done and a stark reminder of atrocities committed by man in a senseless act that destroyed so many lives. Unfortunately we did not have a lot of time, but I think you could spend at least two hours here. Each display is worthy of your time.

Our first time to New York . This was a place we had to visit. A very emotional visit. You can not imagine the devastation until you are there. Such a beautifully finished exhibition. We booked our tickets on line . Even so there was a line at 9.15am . Go early to avoid the queues. Take the time to see all three short films.
We wandered for three hours throughout the exhibition.

What an amazing and emotional experience. The pools are beautifully done and are a wonderful tribute to those who lost their lives on 9/11. The museum was very well done and included many items and details leading up to and including 9/11 as well as the aftermath. The experience is definitely emotional and at times difficult, but seeing the memorial and the museum should be at the top of every NYC visitor's list.
