This is one of those rare New York experiences that can appeal equally to a tourist and a lifer. The guides narrate layers of NYC that are rarely addressed through memorable stories--stories that I won't soon forget. Three hours flew by and I wish the tour could have lasted three days. Very invigorating!

This tour takes one across decades and miles, punctuated with often little known history and individuals who influenced the culture, mindset and physical development of New York City. Ina delightfully shares her extensive research, insights and clear love of the city. An informative and enjoyable experience -- whether you're a seasoned New Yorker or first time visitor.

This is not your typical sightseeing tour of New York and that’s a very good thing. I learned the story of how New York came to be in a way that challenged my prior conceptions, introduced me to new names who played a key role in the city’s history and inspired me to learn more. The guides are passionate, knowledgeable and clearly love this city. Highly recommended for both visitors to the city and those who call themselves NYers.

In a few hours, you learn about so much about how this city became what it is due to a few individuals through the decades who left indelible marks. First-class tour!
