We accidentally dropped in to Alimama. Tried their cream puffs - and loved it. The staff was really helpful explaining the various options us being cream puff novices.

I first heard about this spot from a foodie friend of mine. From there, I told myself I should definitelty try these MOCHI donuts. I had the cereal, matcha and their special edition smores donut (for national donut day). Gah. Magnificent. Sure, it might be a little pricier, but I think it's worth it for the quality of health and taste that comes with them. I tend to not be too crazy for sweet desserts, and these were just my cup of tea - light on the sweetness!

Service was great too, with the staff explaining each of the donuts along with recommendations.

The matcha donut was delicious and chewy. It reminds me of a sweet yet savory donut. The consistency is similar to the fried dough sticks that you get with your congee.
The filling donuts are good too. I definitely like the matcha donut better.
