Central Park is a great Park to spend the day in. Beautiful views, great walks and a zoo to visit also.

Would highly recommend.

You´ll always have things to do and see in Central Park! For dogs lovers, for example, go and have a look at the statue of Balto, near South End, the famed sled dog who battled tundra conditions in Alaska to help save children threatened by a deadly diphtheria epidemic. You could also, if you like the Beatles, go see Strawberry Fields, the living memorial to the world famous singer John Lennon. There´s so much more! You name it! I could spend the whole day writing about things and places like the Carousel, Shakespeare garden, The loch, Central Park zoo, The lake...go and see for yourself! You won´t regret it!

My husband and I went on a free tour given by Central Park Conservancy volunteers. It was great! The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a wonderful time touring the Park and seeing all the highlights. We walked around on our own after the tour ended and even rode the carousel. Highly recommend devoting some time to exploring the Park.
