Our apartment was awesome! We stayed in the east end of San Diego. We felt very safe in our apartment and found it easy to get around. The apartment was clean and a great size for us all to spread out. The convienant step by step instructions to check in were easy to follow and made things really easy. This was our second time staying with Stay Alfred and once again we were more then pleased! We are officially Stay Alfred addicts!
The apartment is well equipped, clean, great amenities, and attention to details. Two main issues with our stay were :
1. The people in the apartment above didn't stop pacing 24 hours and it made a lot of noise.
2. The surrounding is filled with a lot of homeless, and it makes an unpleasant feeling.
All in all, the apartment itself is very comfortable and welcoming.
+The aprt is good, as in the photo and described.
-homeless are around the corner and neighborhood little bit busy with construction.
+ Car Parking
+ Wash machine
+ Close to the downtown.
+ very close to the supermarket
- noise from the street and if your neighbor walk you can hear his noise.
- 120$ extra for cleaning even if you leave the aprt clean.
If you are going to stay more than 3 days, it is very good place to stay in.
I've never used StayAlfred before, but the 2 times that I called the service they were very helpful and friendly. The instructions on how to check in, how to receive my key and how to check out were very clear. The apartment was very clean, modern and spacious enough for 4 guest. Its near freeway access and within walking distance to the gas lamp district and petco park. I read a review where someone said they felt a little unsafe to walk at night. I can see how that could be, because there are indeed a lot of homeless people sleeping and hanging out in the surrounding area. I think this is to be expected when you stay in a major city and is something that I am very used to from frequently visiting downtown LA. Though I was with 2 of my brothers, we had no issues walking from the apartment to the gas lamp district at day and night and felt just like a major city should feel like. The apartment building itself is very secure with both a censored key fob and key being needed to access it. One more plus is that the building is attached to a Albertsons grocery store that we found very convenient. I'd definitely use the StayAlfred service again and would definitely stay in this apartment again.
