This is a new hotel, built with no thought given to acoustics. The first floor has the restaurant, bar, front desk, pool and exercise room, which are fine. But, there needs to be lid on it! It is an open atrium, with rooms going around in a circle on the outer walls only. Lovely to look at, but from our third floor room, with the door closed, we could hear every plate being cleared from the restaurant tables, silverware clinking, the vacuum running, and every conversation downstairs and even outside our window. Breakfast was good, and inexpensive, staff was very friendly. But I like to have a quiet room and get some sleep.

Room Tip: Bring ear plugs.

As you walk in you see this super large bar that is the center piece of the whole hotel. It stretches up to the ceiling with liquor bottle decorations. We got in late, had some drinks and ate some appetizers. The food and service was ok, but the bar and the décor kicked butt! We got up the room and it was HUGE. It had a living and dining area, living area, two queen beds. The sink was separate from the bathroom so I could do my hair while my hubby took care of business lol. It even had a sink where the kitchette was located with a mini fridge. Stay in room 525!

IMHO: This Holiday Inn is the BEST hotel in Tupelo. Location is well suited to enjoy any part of town. This short visit offered up another opportunity to enjoy the facility.
Again we found they offered up a Perfect Room = Perfect Stay.
Thank You and we'll see you on our next trip to Tupelo.

We were 3 bikes traveling from La. to Tn. We had a breakdown on Trace and had to be towed to Tupelo. This hotel went way above and beyond to help us. We spent 2 nights there and were treated like royalty. From the front desk, the housekeeping crew, the maintenance people to the managers and waitresses in hotel restaurant. We fixed our trike to co tongue put ride and these people let us keep our truck and trailer safely on their premises for the next 3 days. We traveled on and stayed at 3 different hotels along the way but no one or nothing compared to this hotel and it's hospitality . Also they were the cheapest priced of all. On our way back home we stayed with them again for a night. Same treatment. We were all truly amazed at how friendly and accommadating the whole crew was. We highly recommend this hotel . Plus very close to many popular restaurants.

Clean, friendly staff, newly renovated and done right... a very nice place to stay. The worst thing was that you could hear people in the hallway, which was not that big of a deal at all. Super quiet street and comfy beds. Will stay again if we're in the area. Breakfast was slightly expensive at $7-9 a plate.
