All staff we encountered were incredibly friendly. The location was central to our activities for the weekend and we were easily able to walk about. Check in was a breeze. Our room was clean and comfortable. A so-so view of the city, but that's not what we were there for. Nice modern shower with plenty of hot water. Easy access to the Copley Sq Mall, Prudential Center and Duck boat rides. Quick walk to Newbury St. King size bed was comfortable. The room had no fridge, but a coffee maker and small sofa and table area. Plenty of space for two people. The downside was room service. A couple of sodas and a yogurt cost just under $50! A high-end hotel, but that is just taking advantage. Elevators arrived promptly. We were able to store our luggage for a bit after check out, with ease. We would stay again.

I could forgive them when I arrived in the lobby and it wasnt clean - it was the evening after the Boston Marathon. It was rather annoying when I checked in and the person tried to peer pressure me into taking a deal where my room wouldnt get cleaned during my 4 night stay and I get $5 off a night apparently 85% of guests take up this offer - that is what I was told. It wasnt appealing to me.

It was disappointing when I got to the room and there was a dirty towel on the floor - I just picked it up and put it in the bathroom. But what really was too much was when I picked up the telephone and it was so filthy underneath I didnt want to put it near my ear.

I called to complain and was told it would be cleaned and it never was in my 4 night stay.

I wanted a kettle to make tea as they only have a coffee maker that obviously after extensive use has a strong coffee smell so you cant use it to make tea unlesss you want coffee flavoured tea. I was never supplied with a kettle - they were all out during my 4 night stay. This is for a hotel where I paid nearly $400 per night.

When I mentioned these deficiencies at check out - nothing no response, the person handling my check out had no idea how to respond.

Really disappointing experience. The location is great right in the centre of Boston but these guys need to improve service and facilities.

I just stayed 4 nights while on a business trip at the Westin Copley, and really liked my room!! This is a big hotel, with lots of floors and a good number of elevators too. My room was upgraded to some kind of suite, which took the form of one large corner room - great windows, lovely exposed floor except for a square of carpet under and around the bed, comfortable furniture, a huge TV monitor, a great bathroom. It had the things I look for: free wifi, lots of outlets on both sides of the bed for charging devices, a room safe, a coffee maker if you want it, an empty bar frig - and best of all, THE WINDOW OPENED! The room was immaculate. The hotel is attached to 2 shopping malls, all the designer shops and then all the regular ones too. And Eataly, which is a fun way to enjoy a bar, eat, or shop for take out. This is a downtown location, easy to use transit, and exactly a 2 block walk from Newbury St, known for its shops and restos/bars. A great place!

Room tip: I love the river view, and my corner room had a city view with a bit of the river too!

Very comfy hotel, location is great (close to everything), bedroom is spacious and pretty, bed and pillows are nice as well as the bathroom. Good wi fi. Weirdly the tv in our bedroom took a long time to warm up, but besides that no complaints! Staff is friendly and polite, we really enjoy our stay!

All of the hotels in Boston are crazy overpriced. There's just a shortage of rooms available, so of course the demand is high and the prices are higher. The Westin is expensive, but in the context of the Boston hotel market, it's pretty fair.

That said, it's a very nice hotel. I enjoyed the room, the robes, and the bathtub. The decor at check-in is suitably fancy, and the amenities are as expected from a hotel of this caliber.
