Overall, my husband and I and our daughter and son -in-law had a great stay. The unit is really nice. Views from 10th floor were great. Just a few complaints....
The person before had only left one key, they took one home. So with 2 couples hard to split up. By the time the Stay Alfred rep brought another key by, our stay was almost over. Not Stay Alfred’s fault, but not what we were promised.
We drove into the City and wanted to park for our 2 night stay. Neither place that Stay Alfred recommended worked. One was fenced and gated with a padlock. Can’t remember the story on the other. We found a ramp ourselves and only paid $45 online for the whole stay.
In the unit, the thermostat in Master bedroom didn’t work, so the ones sleeping in that bedroom roasted. Please fix for next guest!
Appreciated the coffee maker, filters and coffee packets, even though we brought our own coffee. But, no salt and pepper! Have you ever had eggs for breakfast with no salt? And no dish cloth to wipe cupboards. Has to use a paper towel.
Finally, as a Marriott rewards member, I guess I have high expectations. Like when someone spills on bedroom carpet, could be spot cleaned. Trim on closet door falling off. But the worst was 2 slays missing slats on the vertical blinds, right by the head of the bed. Morning light came right in on my face.
We renovate properties and you can buy a package of those slats at Home Depot for minimal cost. Easy to slide in to the top rail.
Kinda tacky to have slats gone in such a nice unit.
So like I said, location was so great to subway and to walk everywhere. Just think a few little touches would go a long way.
Excellent choice of accommodation. Spacious, clean, well equipped. Coffee shop next door to grab a quick breakfast, Sports Bars across the road to grab a quick drink and dinner. Round the corner from North Station or Faneuil Hall.
Very spacious, included everything you needed. Walking distance from Little Italy where we spent two out of four nights.
