We arrived on Memorial Day and were lucky to see the sea of small US flags commemorating those lost in battle very moving indeed. This is obviously a space that is very important to Bostonians. Excellent for just sitting and watching the world go by.

Buzzing with people everywhere 10:30am on a Wednesday. Not crowded just people doing their own thing. Some jogging, some walking and some just reading and we even saw a drawing class taking place.
Lots of parents and kids near frog pond area.
Felt very safe.

Nice park with plenty of seating. Close to swan via rides. Make sure you have food for squirrels as they will expect it!

It was a nice place to rest while on the Freedom Trail. Might be more fun with large groups or young kids, but there wasn't much for us to do. Next to Beacon Hill, which was nice.

Great place to enjoy nature and people watch. There’s lots to see including the frog pond, carousel and several monuments. The weather was perfect today so it was nice to walk around.
