Really, really good espresso—much better than expected given the large-store, busy appearance of Caffe Bene. If Starmuck could do this, they’d have something. And the raspberry-chocolate macaroons are to die for!

Caffe Bene appears to be just a smallish corner coffee clutch but it's actually a fairly big coffee house, with window seats along two walls facing Mass. and Huntington Avenues, a smaller interior seating area just beyond the window seats, and a sweet library-like area complete with couches and comfy chairs--and books and magazines!!!

Their baristas handled the small crowd in front of me when I arrived and put my cup of cappuccino in my hand within minutes after it was ordered. My friend had arrived a bit earlier and she'd inhaled some type of muffin that she raved about.

The place was clean and well-lit, and for either Huntington Theater or Symphony Hall or Christian Science Church or Mapparium visitors, Caffe Bene is a "go to" coffee house nearby.

We had coffee and cake here a couple of times during our stay in Boston and everything was very tasty and clean, plenty of seating and free wifi, cannot ask for more than that.

Caffe Bene is a sanctuary for coffee lovers traveling through this eclectic Boston neighborhood. The barista masterfully crafted a latte that was as beautiful as it was delicious. Reasonable prices for coffee and a full assortment of bakery items. Relaxed atmosphere with table and chairs for those who want to stay awhile and slowly enjoy their coffee. Located within walking distance of Northeastern University.

This casual breakfast cafe, near the Mapparum, has more than the usual selection of beverages and foods. Quick, cheap and tasty too. The barista made different images in our coffee's foam. Better than Starbucks.
