If you find yourself in Asheville, NC, take a few minutes to walk away from the central tourist area and visit the Lexington Glassworks. The artists are super friendly and explain what is happening as they create new pieces. Covid rules have the bar currently closed, but there are many pieces for sale in the gallery. Worth your time! (Caveat - they don’t take AmEx, but everything else is good.)

First class second generation Italian Glass workers. This is a working studio, as well as a retail shop. Plan to spend some time here, you will love it!

I love this place! The work they do is phenomenal and you can actually watch them create art pieces right inside the building. They were even cool with our laid back dogs coming in.
