Ruth said halfway into our all day hike on the Mountains to Sea trail from the Folk Art Center to the Haw Creek Overlook she wanted pizza for dinner. She picked here to also have an IPA. Since we could eat whatever we wanted, we started with tater tots with queso and jalapenos, then a medium pizza with Romas and basil, and a Shiva IPA for Ruth and I the pale ale. They list the alcohol and hops content for each and will bring you tastes. There are a few wines available too, plus burgers and other pub food. They also had desserts, but we went off for ice cream. Our server was peppy and friendly and kept everything perfect. We got to sit outside on the patio where the view of the parking lot was a little gritty, but it was very pleasant to sit outside in the early evening. Apparently you can watch a movie inside while dining too!

We went here expecting terrific pizza after reading many local reviews. Loved the vibe- especially the outdoor seating area. We were disappointed in the pizza- it was fine but nothing great. Had a great time- go for the vibe and lower your expectations on the food!

We stopped in for a beer. We didn’t eat but the beer selection is great. Rocket Girl, Lemon Space Dog, and Fire Escape are all outstanding! The staff was friendly. All the food we saw looked great too! Stop by for a pint!

Great place without the uptight feel. Fun menu, great service, and very good beer! An enjoyable experience.

Hotel staff recommended this place. Most sat outside at picnic like tables on an uneven cement floor. Patrons brought their dogs. Kind of a neighborhood happening atmosphere. We had pizza- half Moon Pie and half California Dreaming. Just right for us. We had a blueberry stout that was interesting, smooth and delicious. There were a lot of interesting craft beers. So....we got pizza, and liked this place a lot, although parking is a little tricky.

Thank Bill M
