Great place without the uptight feel. Fun menu, great service, and very good beer! An enjoyable experience.

Hotel staff recommended this place. Most sat outside at picnic like tables on an uneven cement floor. Patrons brought their dogs. Kind of a neighborhood happening atmosphere. We had pizza- half Moon Pie and half California Dreaming. Just right for us. We had a blueberry stout that was interesting, smooth and delicious. There were a lot of interesting craft beers. So....we got pizza, and liked this place a lot, although parking is a little tricky.

Stopped in to the downtown (Coxe St) location on our way from Kentucky to NC for a late lunch. The hostess seemed entirely overwhelmed/confused and took 15 minutes to seat us, but was apologetic. Our server was attentive. We ordered the jalepeno poppers, manic dragon pizza and moon pie pizza. All were very good, hot, and freshly made. Our food came out quickly. I had the perfect day IPA which was standard, but it didn't blow my socks off -- a solid option though. All around a good visit, but probably wouldn't go on if it was much busier than it was today (memorial day) for concern of being seated.

My husband and I came here on a Saturday night. I get it, it’s busy. We waited 30 minutes to be seated and were told that our server would be with us. 30 minutes later, I asked the hostess if we would have a server or if I needed to go inside to the bar (we were seated by the hostess on the patio). She assured me that she would send someone right over. Tables were getting seated after us and getting service, but we couldn’t get anyone to wait on us. 15 minutes after the first check with the hostess (now 45 minutes since we were seated by the hostess and that we’ve waited for someone just to take our order), again we were told that someone would be over OR we could just go inside to the bar to order and someone could bring it out. Still all around us, people were getting waited on.

First time in Asheville and heard so much about the town. Found this place by chance and decided to give it a try and what a great place it was! We sat outside on the benches and the staff was quick and friendly! Made some recommendations for the brews after we said what we liked and got the flight. Ninja Porter, and the like darker brews and it was delicious! We had the hummus and wings for apps. Blow torch spice on the wings were delicious but not as spicy as we had hoped but the flavor was amazing! Ghost Burger, Fight Club, Quesadilla, V Burger all wonderful! Great find for us. Keep up the great work and we’ll be back for sure!
