So I will admit when we first booked this cabin, I had reservations about it however after staying there for four nights, I have to admit it was the best vacation the wife and I have had in years. It is very remote and is a good ways off the beaten path but once you get to the cabin, it's wonderful. Tammy has gone out of her way to make this a great stay for those who are wanting to experience the great outdoors, to visiting Ashville or for those who just need the down time. We enjoyed the outdoors, the spa and looking at the stars at night. Even when it rains, it's a peaceful and romantic for a couple to get away reflect on what is important to them. The other advantage is the cabin is only 30 mins away from Ashville so there is a lot to do during the day and great places to each just 15 mins away as well. The property is beautiful and the sound of the creak outside the cabin is great when falling a sleep, not to mention, the beds are extremely comfortable and the cabin is spotless. If you are visiting the Ashville area or just wanting time to yourselves, this is the place to stay.
This was a great cabin - beautiful inside and gorgeous scenery outside!! It was so private, and our dog LOVED exploring the creek and the property. Very peaceful with the sound of the creek running right by the cabin. The cautionary note about the gravel driveway should be taken seriously - we drive a Toyota Camry and it made it up fine, but it did scrape in multiple areas. Overall, we loved the cabin and would recommend highly!
My wife and I wanted a private place off the beaten track. Tammy's lovely cabin was the perfect place to chill, hike with our dog and read our books. Its also near Asheville and all that great city has to offer.
If you are looking for a quiet, private getaway, super dog friendly, you will love this little cabin. Tammy, the owner, has obvisoulsy put much thought into making it worth your while, so cute and quiet. The hot tub is great! We went to the close by Ingles and got 3 days of steaks, and other delicious foods and cooked on the grill every night. Everything you need is here, litterally. Went into Asheville for shops and scenic routes. The road leading up to the cabin looks scary but going slow, our 2010 toyata camry did just fine. Loved the stay!
Wolf Branch (Lodge) as I call it is a Special Place for me as I have experienced so many life events there. It is always so peaceful to go back and enjoy the Memories.
