Review of Baba Nahm

Baba Nahm
Ranked #189 of 840 Restaurants in Asheville
Certificate of Excellence
Price range: US$5 - US$10
Description: Baba Nahm is a taste of the Mediterranean. Centered around Middle Eastern Culture - with tons of flavor and bright colors to match the upbeat vibe - it's a grab 'n go spot that's convenient and nutritious, with a bit of play sprinkled in. No junk, no joke, our food is fat and free of harmful chemicals or preservatives. We use only whole, minimally processed ingredients that your body will love.

Stopped in on a trip up to the Biltmore. Tried to stop in for an early dinner on Friday but they were catering an event so stopped back in on Saturday. The falafel pita was fresh with tasty vegetables. The Isreali potatoes fries are a must and decent portions allow the ability to share with groups.

This casual mediterranean restaurant in the Grove Arcade is now serving breakfasts pop-ups on weekends.
Inexpensive, off-beat mediterranean breakfasts, including shakshuka, Arab huevos rancheros - a unique take with corn cake, spreads it with hummus, and tops it with scrambled egg, salad, avocado, feta and zhug.
Excellent!

We were looking for a place that was not crammed with folks. They have a slight cafeteria style but the folks are very nice and walk you through what they are serving. Really enjoyed sitting outside on a recent warm day.

The sandwiches and fries were great. We had lamb and chicken choices.

My only dig is that I wish they had a clean, Turkish style beer to compliment the food. The hostess said they were getting ready to upgrade the drinks so I am expecting good things.

Small little store front restaurant at the Grove Arcade, friendly staff and I think the owner was present who immediately offered up his help with any questions we had about the menu. The freshest of ingredients were used... delicious !
