“Disappointing”

Road to Needles District
Ranked #21 of 102 things to do in Moab

We were looking forward to seeing The Needles. Photos represent a beautiful place. The road does not take you very close at all for a decent view. I was hoping for an overlook or viewpoint. The closest is a long way away. Canyonlands Park is excellent, but I would skip this side journey.

On the way to Needles, there are a few stops ton the way to break up the travel: Newspaper Rock, Hole in the Rock, and Wilson Arch.

Another must see in Utah, so close to home and just south a bit from Moab. Worthy to go through this area..... It won't be sorry!

Every rock, every drive, every road trip we took between Colorado and Utah is so amazing and Needles District is one of them. The rock formation is tall - just very nice and interesting drive and places we stop and travel. Would like to come back again. Must see.
