We spent 7 nights here recently.. What a beautiful location along the Colorado River. But the Ranch is overpriced, understaffed … just a mess. Who’s managing this place? So many disgruntled guests walking around. During our stay, I heard approx 5-6 different guest loudly complaining to staff and rightfully so. I could go on for days. But — Thank you to Ron, Laura (activity center guides) and Will (front desk) - wonderful. And the food was pretty good because there is a visiting chef for the summer from NYC. But menu is same especially at lunch and dinner. And food and wine is overpriced. As are the activities — wow are they expensive. I hope the management and owner get their acts together because the Ranch has a lot of potential.

We are spending our family reunion here and we are so happy with Sorrel. The resort is breath taking and the staff has paid attention to every detail for us. From the moment you sit at the bank of the Colorado river, you feel relaxed.

We are staying in the ranch house and it is beautiful. Everything is gorgeous and well maintained.

We had dinner here and the food and service were what you would expect from a five star resort. The service was great and the view can’t be beat.

We are so excited to be here.

My husband and I spent 3 nights here with our 2 dogs looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by beautiful nature, but got SO much more from our experience there! The setting of this Ranch on Colorado River was perfect! The staff was welcoming, friendly, professional and made us feel like we were special guests in their home❤️ (specifically Duarte at front desk, Housekeeping was especially accommodating, Lita, Dayna, Lamberto and Roberto) Upon arrival, they had beds, bowls and treats along with a sweet personal card for our dogs! Housekeeping staff was always out and accessible, they were so sweet with our pups and seemed to anticipate our every need! Really going above and beyond our expectations. The restaurant as well! We cannot wait to visit again in the future!

We had the best experience horseback riding with Joe at Sorrel. We did the hour ride and it was just what we wanted as it let us get over to Arches for the remainder of the day. The views were amazing and we felt super comfortable riding the horses on the trail. Joe also had tons of little tidbits about the land to share and was so down to earth and personable. He truly made our experience a great one. Also Taylor was the sweetest and so helpful with getting us all set up. We highly recommend taking the horseback riding tour with Joe at Sorrel! The resort is great and perfect for a nice little bite to eat after!!

My family and I arrived at Sorrel a little over a week ago, for 4 nights and were immediately blown away by the property and the surrounding landscape. We did almost every activity from Sky Diving (where we landed and the ranch, very cool) jet boat ride (great fun for the kids) white water rafting (kids loved it as well) hiking/rappelling and UTVing. We had a few younger children in our group and they really enjoyed playing with the animals and riding horses. The staff at the hotel arranged everything for us and it was flawless. The restaurant staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. This was say first time in Moab and we are already planning our trip back for next year to Sorrel.
