Our family has visited Moab & many times through the years. I thought we had seen most of the arches there, but my son heard about Corona Arch, so we had to check it out. It was a little more strenuous hike than I was under the impression it was. Yet it wasn't bad. There was a spot where you have to climb a rock that has foot holes carved out & a cable to hold onto. Another area had a small ladder to climb up. Other than those two areas, the hike isn't very hard. The arch is beautiful and worth seeing!

Depending on your trail skills this is an easy to moderate hike. We arrived at trailhead around 6pm. The drive to the trail head is very scenic. The scenery along the trail is interesting and varied. We enjoyed the hike. Like all hiking in Moab area - take water! There isn't much shade. Corona Arch and Bowtie Arch are both visible before you reach the section that has the cable and ladder that assists the climb up a steep area, so you can hike to this point and still have a satisfying point of observation. The hike is about 3 miles round trip. Out and back took about 2 hrs and we're 60+. It's a great - not in the park - hike.

Definitely a nice Arch worth seeing, the hike was mostly easy with a few areas that required you to pay attention. 1 short climb up some steps in rock assisted by a metal rope to help you up followed by a few steps up a man made ladder. Not hard for anyone just need to be patient and take your time. We saw people from 6-75 doing this hike. Go past the Arch and see the view from both sides. take your time and enjoy this wonder in full.

This is the central piece of "The Arches National Park" and well worth the time to visit. I guarantee that you'll never forget this sight!

Another fun hike in the Moab area. Reasonable distance from town. The hike itself is relatively short. Terrain is varied and there is lots to look at.
