Loved this little town. Walked all the steps to the church and it was closed. Would of been nice to know this. Wear comfortable shoes, lots of walking. We payed the $10.00 parking and took the bus down.

Great place to see if you like Civil War History. You learn much about John Brown and the Battle. Lots of antique shops with great items. There is a small fee but well worth it. Close to other historical sites as well to make a long weekend out of it.

The word is WOW. Do make sure you have good shoes and can endure the changes in elevation - a great day spent in this little town.

We are going to plan another trip here. I might just buy an annual pass. We live about 30 Miles away so we can come back for more visits. There are a variety of hikes/walks yo7 can do around this park. The buildings are fun to walk through and the scenery is beautiful. There are lots of cute shops and places to grab some lunch. I wish it stayed open later. Loved it.

This takes you back in time for sure. The shuttle is nice. Takes you right to the town so you can explore the shops and buildings as well as the Appalachian Trail. Worth the $10 entrance fee and shuttle.
