This a small family run affair with about 30 seats inside and a few on the pavement. Great mother and daughter service front of house. Super food from starter to dessert with great pasta. Definitely deserves the high rating.

Family run setup. Fresh pasta, also had the gnocchi too. Well made with an authenticity in its sauce. I see loads of customers who knows the owners.
Desert was the bomb!! Ordered Zaibaione and Tiramisu with coffee. Delectably satisfying.
A great find indeed.

It's well said in Italics "...Let's Break the Bread..."
And, when I visited here in this restaurant, I can easily relate to this.

I visited the restaurant with my family about a week back. It's a small restaurant with a seating capacity for about 30 people (tightly divided among approx 7 to 8 tables.

First, since the owners are themselves involved into the service and ordering, they keep a very close look on the quality & preferences.
Second, the hospitality was just outstanding. We really felt being a part of the family itself, with the amount of courteous manners and cheerful attitude, the team was showing towards the guests.
Third, one should really try Tiramisu in the dessert.
Fourth, very well kept bathroom.
Fifth, service was kept well-in-time and with a proper finish, presentation and the portion quantity.
Sixth, ambience needs a bit improvement with more lights into the area. However, the background italian theme music was really very soothing.
Last but not the least, taste of food was very good. However, being a vegetarian, I would sincerely look towards some small improvements, like in the pesto sauced pasta (which is generally the authentic Italian dish).

BUT, their service, hospitality and Tiramisu were the real show winners. And, hence 4 out of 5.

Absolutely delicious homemade pasta dishes! I had the carbonara which was wonderful and creamy and filled with seared prosciutto. My sister ordered the daily special, a tomato-based tagliatelle with spicy sausage. Also delicious! The restaurant is family owned, the service is friendly and the decor is reminiscent of your aunt's living room. Perfect for relaxing, filling dinner!

This beautiful small restaurant has space for 30 or so covers. The night we called in, just as the restaurant was opening, we were told there was a group booking but a corner table was available and we took it.

The specials were described as “my mother has made” which instantly had our attention. We had a salad and clams for starters-both simple and delicious. The clams with wine and butter and garlic were perfect. For mains a filled gnocchi and a large prawn pasta. Both perfectly cooked and wonderfully tasty.

Notwithstanding the large booking, we were very well attended to and our young son the centre of attention.

A beautifully prepared and presented meal and exceptional service - it was like being with relatives the food was so home made and the service so friendly.

If in the financial district/north Beach do go and eat hear. It is so we worth it.

Small and friendly and like eating with your nonna.

Thank Joe H
