It is pricey to get in, but believe me, if you get there first thing and stay until they throw you out, you get great value for money, The museum is beautifully and informatively organised, and the quality of the film shows and talks - about the universe or volcanoes and earthquakes or whatever - are excellent. The galleries themselves are extremely well laid out with the right amount of eye catching curation and interesting, well packaged information. Just so much to see and take in. The albino alligator is, or course, an attraction, as are the butterflies and birds in the tropical zone, but there are also the quieter explorations in the different rooms where you can have hands on experiences with rocks and other stuff. Wonderful place - if I were a resident I would have a pass and go there all the time - you will never run out of things to learn
