Dinner with the kids outside at at beautiful table with some lovely local live music and impeccable service. The fish is everything you expect it to be! Our waiter was so sweet to the kids and they loved chilling and enjoying the music while we waited for dinner. It's a fancy menu but the whole vibe is very relaxed so don't expect anything stuffy. The sunset scene was exquisite from our table and the whole experience was great. Try the watermelon salad!

I think this restaurant is actually worth it while at Ko’Olina (although it is pricey). The food was delicious with the exception of the mashed potatoes which were cool. Our table was spectacular. I have to say we were disappointed in our waiter. He was not available to return the potatoes and never asked if we would like another drink. Last, we chose Mina’s for our birthdays. Didn’t get anything for it but it’s good to know if they choose not to do something.

Went on a date night with the wife to Minas while staying at a nearby resort. I loved the ambiance, with the outdoor seating right up to the beach. On any other day it would have been perfect but it turned out to be a cold windy night in hawaii and we had to move indoors.
The food was amazing. The tuna tartare had great fusion of flavors. The blackened cod was great, the foi gras melted in the mouth, although the seared tuna was a bit dry and a burnt aftertaste. The deserts were spot on, the lime cream in the puff pastry was extremely refreshing while the chocolate dessert was a really nice take on the ferrerro rocher.
Our waitress was the nicest we have had in forever and her recommendations were spot on. She was very helpful with our dietary restrictions too.

We liked the outdoor location very much. The Ginger-Lime Hamachi with Myoga, Cucumber, Basil; Michael Mina’s Ahi Tartare, and the Salt and Pepper Reef Squid were all excellent. But we were disappointed by a special consisting of a whole grilled fish costing about $150 that was terribly overwhelmed with a diced green onion and soy sauce. It was much too much to pay for such a sloppy fish dish. Prices are very high here, so choose your courses wisely and don’t over-order. For our beverage, we shared a bottle of 2006 Dom Perignon that proved to be much more reasonably priced than the food.

How many restaurants have a fish sommelier? Mina’s does. Fish options you don’t find in many places. And unique and interesting preparations and preparations. Nice wine list. Pricey but worth it for a special night out. We will be back.
