Wavecrest is a well taken care of resort on the east end of Molokai. C112 is a ground floor condo, making it nice for carrying in luggage and groceries. The condo is clean and has about everything you need. For a trip to the beach, there are beach mats, plenty of beach towels, an umbrella, beach chairs, and snorkeling equipment. The town of Kaunakakai is 13 miles from Wavecrest and it takes about 30 minutes to get there. Wavecrest has a lot of older retired residents who live there for a good portion of the year. I don't know that this would be the place to stay if you are bringing young children with you. We even got yelled at by the neighbor to the left for being to noisy, because I was going in and out of the door to the laundry room. My husband and I are in our 50's, so we don't consider ourselves "noisy." That's another thing....the property owner lists the condo as having a washer and dryer. I wasn't told until the day before we left, that the washer and dryer have been unhooked in the unit, and now you have to use a shared coin-operated laundry. This wasn't a huge inconvenience, but just be extra quiet going in and out of the door....even if it is only 5 o'clock in the afternoon. All in all, we enjoyed our experience here and would definitely recommend it to a friend. The owner is very friendly and answers all questions within a day. Wavecrest is a beautiful piece of paradise and we are glad we chose to stay on the east end of the island.
