This is a pretty typical sail and snorkel excursion. The staff was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. They did a good job organizing the group so we had maximum time in the water. The snorkeling was good. This is a very "touristy" trip. You will see other boats and companies taking the same trips to the same snorkel spots.

The food was good (burgers, hotdogs, sides, etc.) and the drinks were as well. Tip: They say open bar, however, the bar doesn't open until the snorkeling is over, so you only have about one hour to enjoy the drinks. (we were a bit surprised by this)

Overall, it is what you would expect from a trip of this kind and we were satisfied.

This was the worst activity I have ever been on. It does not state on Expedia that this is a barefoot sail, which I cannot do. It also does not state that parking is a minimum of $21 and is not validated by the cruise. There was no dock to get on the boat. They brought it up to the sand and had us running with the water and sand splashing all over our clothes. There were not enough tables out so they had to bring a folding table. It felt very cramped as if they overbooked it. The open bar was limited to 3 kind of liquor, 3 juices, 2 beers, and 1 champagne. The food was terrible. My fiancé and I did not eat. I tried, but my chicken looked pink, the fish had multiple bones, and it was overall just very bad. After my fiancé saw the trouble I was having, he opted out. Not ONE BITE was taken off of his plate. They took the food out of a warmer and who knows how long it had been in there. We were so miserable all night. The crew was very nice, but the activity itself is a MESS that is poorly planned. I wanted to get off that boat so bad. We had an absolutely miserable time. Not even a few drinks made it fun for me and my fiancé doesn’t drink so it couldn’t have helped it for him either. Waste of time. Waster of money. Waste of an hour drive. I should’ve just asked for my money back and left when they told me I couldn’t wear shoes and the boat was picking us up from the sand. It was a terrible last night to our vacation and we can never get that time back. We take a vacation once every two years and the last day was terrible because of this. We had to go get Pizza Hut wings when we got back to the city we were staying in because we were starving. One of the worst experiences of my life.

The skipper and crew were really friendly and helping. Gave all the required info and instructions clearly. Dinner was okay. Boat used engines mostly, may be about 30% of the trip is sailing. Still, it was good and at a slow pace. Boat is of good size, has cabin with tables & deck with few bench seats. Saw a big turtle & few dolphins. No free parking, need to use the Whale village structure. To check-in go straight to the beach. We had to do little bit of searching/asking around to figure the point. Sunset was okay with few clouds. Overall, it was good.

If you do one activity this trip, make it this tour with Teralani!

What an experience from beginning to end. We booked another tour first which was quite a bit cheaper, but of course part of a timeshare presentation. The more we thought about it, the more we all wanted to find a better option, and the thought of stepping over the homeless in Lahina harbor to get to our tour in harbor was killing our chill. So we checked with the local Expedia expert at the Hyatt and she laid out several cruises for us. This one was the "Premier Tour" with 5 hours of boat time, 2 snorkel locations, pastry breakfast, BBQ lunch, and open bar.

We walked down to the meet up on the beach near our hotel. They had us sign a waiver and stuck us in two lines, then we promptly boarded the boat. The Captain, Amber, gave us a hilarious safety and welcome speech and we were off!

Our first stop was about 45 minutes out and we really enjoyed the trip. The staff took the time to meet everyone and determine the best equipment for each person. By the time we got to Slaughterhouse Beach we were ready and equipped for our adventure!

We were given great directions and everyone had their boat buddy and we were off! It was a really calm day and the visibility was fantastic. We saw turtles, and huge schools of fish, and lots of real amazing reef structures.

We came back to the boat, where they had grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken breasts with all the fixings!

We then moved on to our next location and now everyone was comparing their stories and pictures. The second location had less of a wildlife show but was just as beautiful and equally fun. They have floatation devices and everything to make you and your kids as safe as possible. You really just bring yourself, a towel, and some sunscreen.

The trip home was just as amazing, we went engines off under sail power for a while and it was so peaceful and a great end to the trip!
