We had the best day! Started with an exciting helicopter ride over valleys, coast and Hakalea. Took about 30 mins. Then we landed and were met by Scotty who was amazing!! He knew everything about Hana, the islands and then some! So friendly and knowledgable. Knew ALL the best places to stop and take the most amazingly beautiful pictures!! We stopped For a yummy picnic lunch at one of the black sand beaches. We have been to Maui several times and this was our 2nd sky trek with this company but Scotty is the best guide! And he is the best photographer so you get that as well! Thank you for the best day!! Memories we will have forever❤️

Thank tlmnjm

We signed up for the Picnic Lunch Hana tour. Scott was our guide and he was wonderful. We had the van to ourselves - a family of 7 including a toddler and 2 boys. Scott was at our hotel at 7am on the dot and patiently waited as we got our act together and out the door at 7:30. He had very interesting tidbits along the way about the plants, animals, Maui and Hawaiian history and about local restaurants, shopping, etc. He was so attentive to my kids that he was even willing to re-do the waterfall stop with my younger son who had a moment of not wanting to do it and then changing his mind. He was also fantastic with pictures! He noted some great spots to take photos and even grabbed our camera from us to get some amazing family shots. The tour itself is long but goes by quickly. There are about 5-6 stops and each were about 30 minutes long and all very nice (I might have skipped the flower garden one in hindsight - it turned out to be a non-pushy sales pitch). The breakfast snack and lunch were very good and made not having to find food very appealing (Scott even set up the picnic lunch with linens, etc at a lovely spot near the blank sand beach). The ride can make you a bit nauseous so just be aware of that - sitting in different parts of the van helps though. It seems very doable to drive on one's own but it would take quite a long time. The turns on the road come fast and there are plenty. Being with a driver that knows them makes the trip a bit faster, I imagine. Great experience overall - highly recommend it!
