Lovely hotel with the most gorgeous pool. Marriott never disappoints. The facility is well maintained, and the staff is courteous and helpful. We stay at the hotel, but most of the property is now time share. Guests are invited (but not required) to attend a sales presentation. Not a bad thing to do, as their ownership program is very attractive, and would have appealed to us a few years ago. Also has a nice, well-protected beach, and 3 on-site restaurants.

We needed a room for one night before moving into the timeshare we rented. The room we were given was one of the noisiest I've been in but not surprising as it was across from both the elevator and the ice machine. However when we got up in the morning we discovered black "soot" all over our belongings we placed near the desk and the desk itself. This was black mold that the air conditioner was spitting out. We complained at checkout and were not happy with the $50 off offered. The manager sent word she was in a meeting so we had to file a report with security. We did not hear from the hotel until over a week later and only after complaining to corporate about it. They gave us 20,000 Marriott points but that is not even half what you need for 1 night there. They have treated this thing as if subjecting their guests to mold is no big deal. We will never return to this hotel and will search for available options prior to staying at any Marriott in the future.

Room tip: Stay away from elevators and ice machines

Tired feeling facility under some repair work

Sofa uncomfortable - pushes you forward and foam so worn you slide forward - put towel down on it to use.

Didn’t want to walk barefoot on carpet

Housekeeping responded to mold on ceiling and came to bleach clean it and replace air filter — very nice men!

Sad to use our valuable VCR points on this experience. Expected more from Marriott. View is both lovely and not-
Look across bay at shipyard unloading cargo stacked high - behind that beautiful
Mountains

Unless you need to be by airport go to other Marriott vacation club on island until they get this one redone

We make sure to stay at least one night at this hotel every trip, even if we are staying elsewhere on the island the rest of the time. The property is very beautiful, the pool is amazing and the location is great.

We enjoy the location, it is walking distance to great restaurants and good shopping. We love to go to Dukes, and the poolside service is high quality.

Outside of one situation we have received amazing service from every staff member we have interacted with and have often had them go above and beyond.

Highly recommend this hotel!

Room tip: High rooms are great, pool view often has an ocean partial as well.
