Perhaps this place was a great spot at one point in time but that’s not the case anymore. We went for dinner, swayed by numerous reviews, only to experience rushed and indifferent service and mediocre appetizers and fish entrees. Our meals were average but the prices were above that line. We were disappointed with the overall experience and it seemed to fit the picture when we left and our waitress was on the side porch, grabbing a bite and talking with some of the other staff - not enough attention is being paid to the diners inside.

We visited Postcards 3 years ago and were greatly impressed with the food and service. (They made a small error in service and comped one of our dinners!) Our server seemed kind of frantic all night.

Tonight there were several issues with the service with no real recognition of the errors on their part. Worse than that was the food’s quality. I ordered the Sorrento. The fish was delicious but the pasta and sauce were below par. The limeade was wonderful. None of the 3 entrees was really special. In fact, none of us finished our entrees.

Volcano desert was also so-so. Many other restaurants in Hanalei are better.

Our first dinner at this restaurant. We shared the portobello mushroom starter. Absolutely terrific. We also enjoyed the night's special, snapper with scallops. Perfectly cooked and with a delicious sauce. Our server, Jolene, was most friendly and attentive. The website would lead you to believe this is a vegan restaurant. It is but with plenty of seafood offerings. An added plus-plenty of parking around the side. Don't pass up a chance for a wonderful meal. Portions are generous.

This was the first meal my wife and I had when we came on our trip and it was everything hawaii should be. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and chill music, and some insanely good Fish! I had the wasabi crusted ahi, which had an amazing blend of flavors and an incredible sauce. Don't be scared of the wasabi, it adds flavor without being overpowering. My wife had the mahi mahi which was simple but cooked perfectly and she had some of the best mashed potatoes of her life as a side. Highly recommend!

We all felt that the food was delicious, and flavourful. The service was good, and our server was knowledgeable about the wines. Fun items; with a Hawaiian theme. Note well: This is mostly vegetarian, with some seafood options (but no meat entrees). - Too full to order dessert!
