We enjoyed our stay for several days, immensely, and we are already trying to figure out when we can return to stay. It is the perfect location right between downtown Hilo and Hawai'i National Park. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, shower and bathroom were amazing and modern. Things were clean, modern, and comfortable. There isn't a full kitchen, but you really don't need it, you have the grill. The breakfasts were exceptional and were looked forward to every morning. It felt very safe and homey. For the price, you can not beat this B&B.
We stayed in many B&B before but this place is really something out of the ordinary. The landscape is beautiful with many fruit trees all around. The guest house is also wonderful. It is really spacious and the bathroom has a shower and a hot-tub if you want to relax. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and everything is very clean.
When we got there, Leslea came out to welcome us and to show us around. She is very friendly and she took the time to show us all there was to know to really enjoy the place. She accepted to move the breakfast really early in the morning so we could eat there even if we had an early flight to catch and we really appreciated it because her breakfast was better than many we had in big expensive restaurant.
Leslea was the perfect host and we would have loved to be able to stay longer because of all the B&B we experienced during our vacations in Hawaii (four islands), this was the best one without any comparison.
I would definitely recommend this quiet little paradise to everybody.
Sooo clean and soo relaxing and private. We hiked to the lava flow and came back to a beautiful hot breakfast that leslea cooked and then had a beautiful relaxing spa. The accomodation is only 15km from Volvano N.P and about 30 Min drive to the airport so it’s in a perfect spot.
It exceeded my expectations in both cleanliness, size, facilities and price l. It’s worth travelling back to see Leslea again and the dogs and all the animals. Just wish we had longer to make the most of the villa and area. Thanks Leslea.
I wanted to wait to review the Villa until we were finished with our trip. We stayed three nights at the Villa to begin our trip. We stayed ten nights at the Marriott Ocean Club to end our trip. My wife and I agree we wish it was reversed.
Majestic Mountain Villas is a beautiful piece of property that is beautifully groomed. The Villa has everything you would need for grooming (according to my wife, I don’t need much), beautiful bathroom and walk in shower and a separate jacuzzi bathtub. Two very comfortable beds and sliding doors and windows that let the island breezes lull you to sleep. Plenty of closet space and a fan in the sleeping area.
The kitchen is quite functional. Some may think lack of stove is a drawback. Should wait until you have one of Leslea’s breakfasts before you say that. Her breakfast will keep you going all day. Very tasty and filling.
Thank you Leslea and Daryll for sharing your beautiful home.
Located conveniently between Hilo and Volcano natonal park on a beautiful ranch with goats, chickens and 2 gorgeous dogs, handy for supermarket, gas station etc. A warm welcome from Leslea, her hospitality was outstanding, you can tell she enjoys looking after her guests, we left there feeling like family! The breakfasts were the best we had during our whole two weeks in Hawaii, tasty fresh fruit, juice and then delicious bacon & eggs! one morning we had to get up at 3am for a tour with Epic Lava tours (highly recommended) so we missed breakfast but Leslea prepared us a sandwich packed with proteins (eggs, ham & cheese) ready for our arduous climb up the Volcano. The unit we stayed in had a relaxing lanai, clean comfortable spacious rooms, large twin beds and a bathroom to die for (with Jacuzzi bath) soft fluffy towels and toiletries. We would love to return some day !
