“Serene Oasis”
Reviewed 3 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Enjoyable overnight stay on Opening Day in this gem on 4/1/17. Nice, clean, tastefully decorated inn in quaint Honomu village close to beautiful Akaka Falls. Relaxing environment that gives you a taste of old-time sugar era. Manager Michiko was gracious, helpful and friendly. Interesting stores, plus tasty offerings of famous Ishigo Bakery successor, Mr. Ed's Bakery. Lots of plantation history in this charming sugar town, esp. historic Honomu Christian Church (now Hilo Coast UCC). Relaxing, rejuvenating experience.
