-call before you go if you want the burnt ends. Usually have them on Fridays. The owners were very friendly and you can tell they are interested in serving the best BBQ you can get.
Really enjoyed the meal. Waypoint worthy!!!

We had combos, which included 6 ounces of meat (2 kinds)on a bun, with a side for $9.95. The meat was excellent, the bun a little dry. The potato salad was good, the cheesy grits were very good. Friendly service. They provide one picnic table. Located right next to the Flying J truck stop.

Awesome BBQ and a great family business. Don’t let looks deceive you. They only have outdoor seating but the food is homemade and wonderful. Don’t wait until the last minute as they may be sold out. Enjoy this hidden secret of Gillette.

We stopped in on New Year's Day 2018 after 6 hours of driving and reading the reviews. We ordered a rack of ribs and the brisket sandwich. Moist, tangy, smoky meat, not overly sauced, with light, vinegary coleslaw on the side. We ate in our truck in the parking lot (preferring that to the picnic table in the 10-degree weather), oohing and aahing the entire time. I am glad that we have a few leftover ribs to enjoy tomorrow. Inside their tiny cookshack is a selection of their many BBQ competition awards. We will be back to try their pulled pork and burnt ends the next time we pass through Gillette.
