We stayed in a cabin whee our porch faced the mountains, it was a great place to watch the sunrise and sip some coffee. The cabin was clean, nice and comfortable. The grounds were spotless. Staff were friendly. Very quiet and close to the rodeo. The only disappointment was breakfast. I would definitely go back!

I thought it was going to be something special, but just an average motel. You can park outside your door the room was average size and we were promised a view but didn’t expect it to be the main road. There wasn’t a coffee machine in the room you had to go to the reception to get one. It was also too far to walk into the town, the lady on the reception was helpful in telling how to book a meal at the cowboy bar next door but you had to get there before 6.30pm.

Room Tip: Ask for one away from the main road

This place is top notch! Reserve early. Excellent staff and easy check in and check out. The bed was very comfortable. Free breakfast was great! Several choices. The entire place was very clean and in a great location for travel to Yellowstone. Would stay there again for sure!

Room Tip: try to get a room away from hot tub noise

Conveniently situated about 2 mins drive from Walmart’s. The rooms basic but comfortable, no coffee facilities though, but you can park right outside. Breakfast however was a bit too basic, in fact really basic. We ended going into town for brekkie, but it was by car. Cassies nearby doesn’t open for breakfast and the Cody restaurant next door was shut down. On booking in the receptionist helpfully made sure we got a table at Cassies which was about to close at 9pm just up the road, which was really good of her. Convenient stop but for a bed only.

This is not a village but rather a motel right off the main road. The woman at the front desk who checked us in was very rude but the gentleman was very nice. The room was cute and very clean which is a plus. We drove straight from IL to Cody and when arrived were a bit tired. I was super excited they had free coffee till 10pm in the lobby/office. I went to refill our mugs and asked if there was a single drop of dish soap I could borrow to clean our mugs so we could fill up. the woman at the front was rude gave a dirty look and was like no definitely not. So then I asked if there was a sink I could dump the old coffee out in and she said sure. What was at the sink but dish soap. I rinsed our mugs and refilled them and was happy the the coffee was at least very good. I did also ask for a garbage bag and they were willing to spare that. Once in our room we found out how VERY loud our room was. It started to rain and the rooms have tin roofs. Luckily we like that sound and it actually help us take a quick nap. We grabbed a bite to eat and that’s when realized how loud the rest
Of our stay would be. We could hear every truck that went by through the closed windows. The room we were given backed up to the bar/restaurant literally out our window as you can see from the picture. So part of the night we heard loud live music. We are only staying for one night so for a one day stay this place is fine, however for the price $200...we would have anticipated a little more quite or kindness.
