Fun place to stop, takes me back to my childhood and our neighborhood A & W. Great hot dogs, best onion rings and fries! Fresh Root Beer served the way it should be. Glad to see the road construction coming to an end! Great seasonal Fish Fry too.

John's is an old-fashioned root beer stand/restaurant. We had pulled pork sandwiches (which were decent) and French fries (which were good). Their root beer is interesting - very creamy but a bit sweet for our taste. They don't have indoor dining. It was a nice day so we ate at one of their picnic tables. We paid about $9/person. We could've picked cheaper options but we felt we got decent value.

I thought they would have the "better" hot dogs to justify the cost etc. but these are the typical hot dogs you'd buy at the store. Typical white buns as well. Nothing special about it and that was disappointing

They did use Ceder Crest Ice Cream so they get points for that..
