This is a gem in the middle of town. Free fun activities for families. Kids loved all the wildlife. Lots of geese to feed (bring cash to buy corn).

We had an unexpectedly great time here! We loved walking the trails, seeing the birds, and watching the wolf feeding. We spent several hours here and would definitely return.

Tremendous place full of beautiful views and animals. Free admission & free parking with plenty to see and do. You can feed the ducks, walk along their many trails, or have a picnic. Lots of great photo opportunities and peaceful spots within the property. They do some truly amazing work here to take care and rehabilitate those animals that have been injured or abandoned.
My wife and I visited on a Saturday afternoon and found plenty of parking even with a wedding reception ongoing. There's a small gift shop with memorabilia, snacks, and a donation jar along with restrooms. Spend as much or as little time here as you'd like.

To really enjoy the beauty of the area you need to walk away from the nature center crowd and hit the trails. They are well marked and easy to walk. Gorgeous! Lots of birds and some white tail deer.
